شکايت دارم حواله دار به تو ميگويم
ز دست ديده و دل هر دو فرياد هر آنچه ديده بيند دل کند ياد بسازم خنجری نوکش ز فولاد زنم بر ديده تا دل گردد آزاد
کمان ابرو کمانت را ببوسم سنان مژگان سنانت را ببوسم کمند افگن بگير آن گيسوان را صدف دندان، لبانت را ببوسم
ز راه ديده در دل خانه کردی ز پستی (سپس این) خانه را ويرانه کردی نگويم ز آنچه کردی يا نکردی فقط يک گپ؛ مرا ديوانه کردی

About This Recording
I have a complaint — and the song means it formally, love treated as a contract the beloved has breached. The complaint, shekayat, is a recognized move: love creates obligations on both sides, and the beloved's coldness can be named as a failure to keep them. Zahir never lets it sound petulant.
