Khwab Az Chashmanam Raboodi — You Stole Sleep from My Eyes — names the theft precisely: sleep, not love, not hope, not youth. Sleep is the most basic of bodily requirements, and its theft by love is among the oldest complaints in the Persian lyric tradition. The beloved has not simply created longing; they have disrupted the speaker's fundamental physical rest.

'Life without you is forbidden to me' (bi to zistan haram ast) — haram is the Islamic legal category of prohibition, the forbidden. To say life without the beloved is haram is to apply religious law to personal desire, making the beloved's absence a violation of something absolute. 'May my eyes go blind if after this / I take notice of anyone but you' — the self-imposed curse is the lover's strongest oath form.

'My love was trampled by enchantment / O enchantment of desires — where are you?' — the 'enchantment' (sehre) that trampled the love is the beloved's own spell, which has both created the desire and apparently destroyed it. The final question is a catalog of lost things: 'Where did it all go? Friendship, loving, acquaintance' — yari, mehrabani, ashnayi. These three words name ascending degrees of closeness from acquaintance to affection to friendship, listed in reverse order as they are lost.
